This is a photoshop Ribbon Making Tutorial.You can learn How to make a web Ribbon with Photoshop,Just Follow some step:


Create a new Document with 500*250 pixel.
And Fill it with #276498 Color.


Layer >> New.Named Bar.


Select Rectangular marquee tool from tools panel.Create a selection
and fill it with any color.



Now go to layer >> Layer Style >> Gradient overlay and apply this value.


Layer >> Layer Style >> Drop shadow.


Set Forground Color to #760231.Now Select Rounded Ractangular Tool from tools panel.
Create a shape with 51*100 Pixel.and go to layer >> Rastersize >> shape.
Now your Ribbon look like this.


Select Rectangular marquee tool and create a selection like this.
Fill it with same color.Press Ctrl+D to deselect.


Now again select Rectangular marquee tool,Create a selection like this.
Press ctrl+j to copy Selected area.


Now we have this copied Ribbon,Go to Edit >> Transform >> Rotate 180.


Use the Move Tool (V) and your arrow keys to align the little shape next to the bigger shape,
making sure they are not directly overlapping.
Once moved into place, Ctrl + click your little shape layer’s thumbnail within the
Layers Panel window to load a selection around it.


Now active selection,Select Bigger shape Layer and press del ke to clear the area.
Repeat the steps for the other side of the shape.when you’re finished
you should have something like this.Now you can delete little shape layer.



Now go to Layer >> Layer style >> Gradient Overlay
Apply this settings.


Now your Ribbon look like this.


Select Background Layer,Create a new layer called "nav hover extra".create a small ellipse using the Elliptical Marquee Tool
and fill the ellipse with the color #41021B


Cut the ellipse in half by using the Rectangular Marquee Tool to make a selection Like this.
If the ellipse hangs over the navigation, trim it some more. Once the ellipse is the correct size,
duplicate its layer and place the duplicated one on the other side.


Your Ribbon is ready now,Now you can do more things to make it more beautyful.
Using Pattern,Shadow,style Etc.
