Apply fog effect on photo

This is a photoshop photo effect Tutorial.In this Tutorial you can learn how to apply fog in a photo with photoshop.Just follow some steps.


Open a picture like this.


Click on "Create a new fill or adjustment layer" button >>Solid color.


Select color #ffffff.and make this layer opacity to 50%.


Now your picture look like this.


Select Gradient tool from tools panel.Select Linear gradient color black and white.
Apply gradient following this picture.


Now your picture look like this.


Press Ctrl+J to Duplicate this layer.


Select the Eraser tool from the tools panel.Select brush 200 pixel soft rounded brush.


Erase the foreground area,Dont erase middle point.(Follow this pic)



By selecting top layer press ctrl+j to duplicate layer.
Change opacity to 75%.


Again select Erase tool and Erase a little short the middle point(Follow this Picture, Black fog is you erased just now)


Again Click on "Create a new fill or adjustment layer" >> Lavel



Apply this value.Your Picture is look like this.


Again apply Lavel.



Now your Picture is ready.
